Far too many business owners view a professional brand and website as a luxury, a choice, something that can be left until later. There may not be a “later”.

In the vast majority of cases, your branding and website will be a potential client’s very first exposure to your business, service(s) or product(s). Even if they meet you first, you’ll be handing them a business card, right?

This is a crucial moment in their decision-making process on whether to engage more with you, or pass you by.

To be effective in anything, you must follow a process.

1. Discovery


We’ll ask a lot of questions… some may not seem relevant, but trust me, they are. We need to learn everything you know about your business.

What you do, where you’ve been, where you are, where you’re going and why your perfect client needs you.

2. Strategy


This should be called the “Thinking & Sounding” section. We’ll create:

  • Competitor research

  • Audience research

  • Vision, mission and values

  • Positioning statements

  • Tone of voice

  • Messaging

3. Identity Design


Taking the findings of the strategy stage, we’ll now formulate and create your brand identity, which is far more than just a logo.

In a very thorough and explanatory presentation, we’ll talk you through every element of my visual decision making for your brand and demonstrate how it will (and won’t) be used to present your business in the most confidence building way, to your core client-base.

4. Guidelines


To finalise your branding project and send you off into the world fully armed, we’ll provide you with a full brand guideline, outlining all the details you need to use your new brand identity properly.

In addition to this, you’ll also receive a full ‘brand pack’ which will include all your logos and graphics in every format and colour system (web and print) you’ll need.

Once your branding is complete, it’s time to flood it through your website and all your marketing assets.
